About the Chef & Owner....

Chitose Tsutsumi was born in Nagasaki Japan, he started working under master chef in Fukuoka city to be professional chef. He also worked outside of Tokyo area.

 

Coming to U.S.A 1985, he began from New York City, Los Angles, CA,  Tucson AZ & Monterey Mexico. In 1994 he finally came to western suburb of Chicago. In 1999 he opened Sushi House in Wheaton, IL as a co - owner.

 

"I found Taka Sushi late spring, this place is surrounded by great neighborhood, residences and business industries. I realized that there is no authentic Japanese sushi restaurant and no professional Japanese chefs."

 

It was  a great opportunity for him to introduce his amazing skills and wanted to share his love and knowledge for Japanese cuisine. His passion is brings traditional Sushi and Japanese cuisine with modern style by using different techniques and unique ingredients.

 

His goal is to make Taka Sushi as nice family restaurant, where he would love to meet new people who have a wonderful time at Taka Sushi.

Monday- 12:00pm - 9:00pm

Tuesday - Thursday 11:00am - 9:00pm

Friday - 11:00am - 10:00pm

Saturday -12:00pm- 10:00pm

Sunday - Closed
